Thing #8

I love using the Mosaic Maker to take my pictures and blend them together to create different layouts. In the classroom you could use this to let the kids learn more about each other while playing with photos. If you made up a list of favorite things or things about yourself and then have kids look for images to their answers and then present their mosaic and tell what each picture means.

  1. I like your idea about using the mosaic maker for a "favorite things" project. I think the kids would love this and they would probably put a lot of effort into what they were making.

  2. I couldnt see your image. The idea for using a mosaic maker is a good idea for the younger crowd because youre right, they would be more interested in what the project is about. As far as older kids, they might get sidetracked and forget the idea behind the project. Good post.

  3. Hey Alice!! I just wanted to let you know I can't see the image you posted. Your idea is great and a good idea for letting your students understand you, they're classmates, and subject matter. Just make sure that everything you use is visible for everyone. Save it to your computer as your own image then upload it. Other than that this was a great idea!!
